Hey Mama, I'm LaTya Wells, LPC-A
Trauma-Informed Perinatal Therapist, specializing in perinatal mood disorders. I'm dedicated to supporting women through life transitions such as infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, postpartum transitions, and the emotional complexities of motherhood and parenting. A Mom Therapist, located in Katy, TX, serving women, moms, and birthing persons in the Greater Houston Area.

I've walked many roads within this space, personally and professionally.
I understand the silent grief of infertility.
The disorientation of pregnancy after loss.
The weight of birth trauma.
The hormonal shifts can make you feel unrecognizable.
The identity shifts that motherhood can bring to the surface.
The overwhelm of ending generational curses.

And I bring not only lived proximity to these experiences, but formal clinical training, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based therapeutic tools to help mothers regulate, process, and rebuild.

My work centers on helping women feel safe in their bodies again, clear in their thoughts, and empowered in their decisions.

This is not just therapy. This is YOUR space for intentional healing.

In case I didn’t make it clear
I understand the struggle of the juggle.

I’m a mom of two toddlers navigating the beautiful chaos of early motherhood.

I know what it feels like to hold the mental load, to love your children deeply, and still miss parts of yourself.

Outside of therapy, I’m a traveler, a book lover, and a proud girl-dog mom, but motherhood has reshaped me in ways that are both humbling and powerful.

That lived experience doesn’t replace my clinical training; it deepens it.
